Dr Maxime Desrosiers Bérubé, Medical Director at SKN MD

Dr Maxime Desrosiers Bérubé

Medical Director · Physician, Collège des médecins du Québec (CMQ 12639)

“Facial aesthetics is a medicine of precision. Every gesture must honour the anatomy.”
« L’esthétique faciale est une médecine de précision. Chaque geste doit honorer l’anatomie. »

Dr Desrosiers Bérubé leads SKN MD’s medical practice. A physician and member of the Collège des médecins du Québec (CMQ 12639), he has focused his practice on advanced aesthetic medicine since 2023.

His medical training informs an uncommon reading of facial dynamics: where others see a wrinkle, he sees a muscular pattern; where others fill, he rebalances. This medical approach to aesthetics is the signature of SKN MD.

Across all three clinics he provides medical supervision of every protocol, validates complex treatment plans, and personally receives the patients for whom a medical evaluation must precede any injection. He chairs the internal quality committee and takes an active role in the team’s continuing education.

Valentina El Jesser, Clinical Nurse at SKN MD

Valentina El Jesser

Clinical Nurse · OIIQ 2202364 · Montréal & Terrebonne

Valentina El Jesser is a clinical nurse (OIIQ 2202364) practising at SKN MD’s Montréal and Terrebonne clinics. A graduate of Cégep Édouard-Montpetit and the Université de Sherbrooke, she has focused her practice on aesthetic medicine since 2023, with more than four hundred injectable treatments performed.

She earned her DEC in nursing at Cégep Édouard-Montpetit in 2020, followed by her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the Université de Sherbrooke (Longueuil campus) in 2022. Registered with the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec since 2020 (OIIQ 2202364), she oriented her practice toward aesthetic medicine in 2023.

Her continuing education spans advanced injection programs at the Académie Esthétique (2023), CAMA (2024), Nurses4Nurses (2025 and 2026) and the Master Injector webinar (2025). She is certified in Allergan Neuromodulator and fillers (October 2023), radiofrequency microneedling (2024) and CO2 laser (2025).

Her philosophy is simple: enhance, without transforming. Her practice centres on three areas — the lips, chin and cheeks — where precision of technique defines the result. Her approach comes down to three words: natural, precision, listening.

Trilingual (French, English and Spanish), Valentina sees patients primarily at the Montréal clinic and also practises in Terrebonne, bringing an ongoing curiosity about international approaches to aesthetic medicine to her work.

Jessica Parker, Registered Practical Nurse and Certified Nurse Injector at SKN MD

Jessica Parker

Registered Practical Nurse (CNO & OIIAQ) · Montreal & Ottawa

Jessica Parker is a Registered Practical Nurse and Certified Nurse Injector with more than a decade of diverse clinical experience spanning maternity care, acute care, perioperative settings, and college-level clinical education, complemented by over three years of dedicated experience in medical aesthetics. Her educational background in Biomedical Sciences and Nursing provides a strong foundation in human anatomy, physiology, health sciences, and clinical care. Jessica has been registered to practise nursing in Ontario through the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) since 2016 and in Quebec through the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers auxiliaires du Québec (OIIAQ) since 2024.

Bilingual in English and French, she is able to provide personalized care and education in both languages. Her combined education and broad clinical experience have shaped a strong foundation in medical assessment, anatomy, patient safety, and evidence-informed care. This allows Jessica to approach aesthetic medicine with the same clinical precision and thoughtful judgment that have defined her nursing practice—combining technical expertise with an attentive, individualized approach to every patient.

Jessica believes that exceptional aesthetic care begins with listening. She takes the time to understand each patient’s features, concerns, lifestyle, and goals before developing a personalized treatment approach. Her philosophy is rooted in enhancing what is already present rather than altering it, with an emphasis on subtle, balanced results that preserve individuality and complement natural anatomy.

Her practice focuses on refined injectable and regenerative treatments guided by facial harmony, proportion, skin quality, and long-term skin health. Her approach is conservative yet strategic, with careful consideration given to balance, movement, structure, and how results will evolve over time. Rather than following fleeting trends, Jessica prioritizes timeless, natural-looking outcomes that leave patients looking refreshed, balanced, and authentically themselves.

Jessica is certified through CAMA in Basic and Advanced Botulinum Toxin and Dermal Filler, as well as Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP), Mesotherapy, Microneedling, and Radiofrequency (RF) Skin Tightening. She is committed to ongoing education and continued professional development within the evolving field of medical aesthetics.

Education and transparency are central to her practice. Jessica believes every patient should feel informed, heard, and confident throughout their aesthetic journey. Her goal is to create a thoughtful, personalized experience where clinical expertise and artistry come together to deliver safe, refined, and natural-looking results.

Claudette Amin, Licensed Practical Nurse at SKN MD

Claudette Amin

Licensed Practical Nurse · OIIAQ · Montréal & Terrebonne

Claudette Amin is a licensed practical nurse (OIIAQ) practising at SKN MD’s Montréal and Terrebonne clinics. She performs injectable protocols following an individual medical assessment and order, under the supervision of the medical team, and maintains each patient’s long-term follow-up.

She is often the nurse who guides a first consultation — the appointment where a patient is introduced to the MD Codes reading of the face, asks questions, and takes the time they need, sometimes a night to reflect, before signing a treatment plan. Her clinical rigour and attentive listening make her a reassuring presence for patients who are discovering aesthetic medicine.

Her approach is grounded in skin health and longevity rather than transformation. She favours natural, understated work that respects each patient’s features and supports the quality of the skin over time, and she believes the most natural-looking results are built gradually — in step with each patient’s own pace and comfort.

Her practice comes down to three words: natural, patience, skin health.

Every consultation begins with an individual medical assessment.
