Radiofrequency microneedling
How it works?
This treatment combines microneedling with radiofrequency (RF) energy. Fine needles deliver controlled heat into the deeper layers of the skin, stimulating the body’s natural production of collagen and helping to remodel and firm the tissue over the weeks that follow. It is used on the face, neck and body to address skin laxity, texture and the appearance of fine lines.
At SKN MD, every radiofrequency microneedling treatment is planned and performed under medical supervision. We assess your skin, set the needle depth and energy to your indication, and work the target areas with a series of passes. A typical session takes 30–60 minutes, and a topical numbing cream is applied beforehand for comfort.
radiofrequency microneedling is usually performed as a short series of sessions spaced several weeks apart. Results develop gradually as new collagen forms, typically over one to three months. Individual results vary.
radiofrequency microneedling works alongside microneedling, biostimulators and clinical skin treatments. Every treatment begins with a medical consultation.
For non-surgical radiofrequency skin tightening, you may also consider skin tightening.
Next steps
1. Consultation
During your consultation at SKN MD, one of our medical professionals will assess your skin quality and laxity, review your medical history, discuss your goals, and design a personalized radiofrequency microneedling plan — including the areas to be treated and the number of sessions recommended.
2. Treatment
On treatment day, a topical anaesthetic cream is applied for comfort. The radiofrequency microneedling handpiece then delivers microneedling with radiofrequency energy across the planned areas. Most sessions take 30–60 minutes, with settings tailored to your skin and indication.
3. Results and follow-up
You may notice smoother, firmer-looking skin within a few weeks, with results continuing to develop over one to three months as collagen forms. We provide detailed aftercare instructions and remain available for follow-up to review your progress and plan any further sessions. Individual results vary.
